Dune takes shape from the soft, rippling forms of wind-swept sand. Designed to be both visual and tactile, its rotatable sphere invites touch, calming, mesmerizing, and meditative in motion.

How dune was made

01
Inspired by Nature and Everyday Objects
Dune was born from a mix of quiet observation and playful intent. Its ribbed globe mimics the calming texture of sand dunes shaped by desert winds, soft, fluid, and natural. The stand, meanwhile, draws from something familiar: the silhouette of over-ear headphones, wrapping around the lamp like a modern cradle. This unexpected mix grounds the design in both nature and human interaction.

02
Movement, Mood, and Mindfulness
The sphere isn’t just for looking, it spins. Inspired by the meditative feel of fidgeting with a desk globe, Dune invites touch. You can rotate it gently, even while it's glowing, creating a subtle, hands-on connection. It’s a light sculpture that’s as engaging to interact with as it is beautiful to see. Each detail, from the balanced proportions to the soft diffusion, was refined over dozens of failed prints and long nights, until the form felt just right.
